What We Collect

• Usage data and responses to exercises, reflections, Pulse Checks, and journaling
• Subscription and billing status (via Apple/Google in-app purchase)

Assessment Methodology

• The Pulse Check uses the Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT), a validated, non-proprietary research instrument. Citation: Schaufeli, W. B., Desart, S., & De Witte, H. (2020). *Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) – Development, validity and reliability.* International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, 17, 9495. Results reflect burnout-related complaints and are not a clinical diagnosis.

How We Use It

• To personalize your experience, track your progress, and deliver insights
• To improve the app through anonymous, aggregated analytics

How Data Is Stored

• Your data is stored securely in the cloud (Supabase/PostgreSQL) so your progress and insights are available across devices and so weekly pattern insights can be generated. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Data Sharing

• We do not sell your data to third parties, under any circumstances.
• We do not share identifiable personal information with advertisers or partners.
• Limited anonymized, aggregated data may be used for app improvement and research; you can opt out of this in Settings at any time.

Your Control

• You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings.
• You can export your information at any time.

Security

• We use industry-standard measures (encryption, access controls) to protect your data.

Age Restriction

• This app is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at or intended for use by minors.

Crisis Resources

• If your Pulse Check results indicate a severe risk band, the app will surface the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. This app is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
